about me


Hello and welcome! I'm Alyssa, I've been dancing for over 20 years and am now a professional dancer and choreographer in New York City. Alongside my performance career, I'm excited to share my passion for movement and exercise via personal training! I'm a NASM-certified personal trainer, with a Corrective Exercise specialization. I've been training both remotely and in person since 2020.  

Through commitment and consistency, anyone can establish a relationship with their body that leads to a more multifaceted experience of health. Within the programming, we’ll focus on concepts of functionality, mobility, strength, power, and more–all with the goal to drive progression and overcome mental and physical blocks.

 Ultimately, we want to lead full lives. The body is where we start. 


SERVICES

VIRTUAL + IN PERSON TRAINING

With this service, we will meet over Zoom, at your place, anywhere--and I will provide programming, guidance, and feedback during your session. I can also give you homework beyond the time we meet, so that you can continue progressing towards your goals while simultaneously building sustainable and consistent habits.

I offer hour and half hour sessions. Single sessions can be purchased, along with packages of 5, 10, and 20 sessions.


PRIVATE PROGRAMMING

With this model, you and I will make an optimal game plan for your training, month-by-month. I’ll design programming remotely–specific to your goals–then put it in an app called Everfit with reference to reps/sets/videos/notes/etc. This setup also allows us to look at the most convenient and productive way you can fit exercise into your life (whether that’s 30 minutes here and there, or a long walk through the park). This is what I can offer: 

  • 2-4 personalized workouts per week (note: this can be balanced with other activities, such as fitness classes, Yoga, Pilates, Peloton, etc.) 

  • Habit/lifestyle guidance 

  • Nutritional guidance 

  • Weekly check-ins 

  • Chats through the app/or texts 

Remember, consistency and sustainability are key to developing good habits! My ultimate goal for you is to build an exercise practice that works with your life, not against it.
